Retikularne vene i teleangiektazije

Poznatije pod sinonimom ‘kapilare’, predstavljaju proširene površinske subdermalne vene te ukoliko su širine do 2mm nazivaju se teleangiektazije (spider vene), a ukoliko su širi 2-4mm retikularne vene. Mogu se pojaviti na bilo kojem djelu tijela, ali dominantno se nalaze na nogama i licu.
Iako uglavnom predstavljaju samo kozmetski problem mogu uzrokovati i simptome poput pečenja i svrbeža. Najbolja metoda za uklanjanje tako malih vena je postupak mikroskleroterapije korištenjem posebnih kemijskih sredstava (sklerozans) koji uništava endotel vena i vrlo tankih igala. Prije samog postupka nužno je napraviti klinički i pregled Dopplerom da se isključi oštećenje zalistaka u dubokim venama nogu. Ukoliko je takvo stanje prisutno postupak mirkoskleroterapije će biti neuspješan tj. vrlo brzo doći će do pojave novih vena ili neće reagirati na terapiju.
Isto tako važno je provjeriti da li se teleangiektazije pune preko neke od dovodnih retikularnih vena ili putem perforatora pomoću ultrazvuka visoke rezolucije ili Veinlite uređaja. Ukoliko se takva ‘hranidbena’ vena identificira najprije je potrebno nju sklerozirati pjenom.
Detaljnim planiranjem postupka i adekvatnom tehnikom moguće je postići vrlo dobre rezultate u liječenju teleangiektazija, ali potrebno je dulje vrijeme da se postigne optimalan učinak. Postupak je potrebno više puta ponavljati. Iako je na prvi pogled rezultat impresivan, kapilare se vrlo brzo napune krvlju i izgledaju gore nego prije zahvata. Obično je potrebno više tjedana da se kapilare u cijelosti povuku.
